Hey there!
My name is Parker. I am a 23 year old college grad who is traveling the world trying to decide what the heck to do with life! I decided to start a blog because I have realized that I have learned and continue to learn so many things throughout my experiences. My hope is that by sharing my experiences I will be able to help some people out, and maybe even inspire some people along the way!
Here is a bit about me-
I grew up in a small-ish town in Northern California, then moved to Southern California where I attended CSU Long Beach and earned my degree in Business Administration. While I was in school, I worked at Disneyland as a performer. I also studied abroad in Amsterdam, which was THE BEST decision of my college career! Seriously, if I can give any piece of advice to anyone in college, STUDY ABROAD! I honestly think the life experience I obtained from living abroad has been way more valuable and useful for my success so far than anything I have learned in school (School is still important though!!!).
So for the most part, I would say I had a pretty great college experience! After I graduated, I really lucked out and I was offered a year long entertainment contract as a performer in Tokyo! I had such a great year, but I also had a lot of time to sit around and think, which made me realize I had absolutely no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I guess that thing that happens to everyone when they graduate college finally caught up with me.
A few months before returning to the U.S., I decided I wanted to give acting and modeling in L.A. a go. Long story short, I went to L.A. for a month, decided it wasn’t what I wanted to do right now, and I instead ended up selling everything in my storage unit.
So, that leaves me here, about to embark on life’s next adventure, which this time is taking me to AUSTRALIA! I am planning to do a working holiday there, and hopefully along the way I will meet people and have experiences that help me figure out what I really want to do in life. I firmly believe that you should never settle for anything in life, but you should always strive to do what really makes you happy, and success will follow. I plan to do just that. HERE WE GO!!!
